Today I bore my testimony in church, sharing my belief in God and my gratitude for the many miracles he blesses me with on a daily basis.
This week I've experienced quite a few.
1. Dropping a class at school with inappropriate material - even though I knew it meant that I would no longer be eligible for my financial aid, as I would no longer satisfy the credit requirement. Though I searched and jumped onto several waitlists (in hopes of getting my credits back up) - I was informed by the teachers that getting in any of the courses was pretty hopeless. Miracle of miracle - 3 or so people dropped or didn't report to the class I wanted the most - and the teacher contacted me personally to let me in (even after most late enrollments are allowed.
2. My daughter could have seriously injured herself on her bike this week. She (not knowing how to ride or brake on a two wheeler yet) - was whirring down a steep hill. I truly believe that angels were watching over her - as at the last possible second her bike steered right, just missing a large wooden post - and veered further right - to miss a tree - going up a small earthen mound to slow her bike - where she fell onto the cushioned grass. She should have hit pavement, a car, that post, or the tree. Miracle of miracle.
PS - Later that day - she learned how to brake and ride her bike. Though, she's still wary of hills.;)
I could go on - I have multiples for each day - but you get the point. I truly believe that Heavenly Father is mindful of us and is with us as we strive to do what is right in living the way he has commanded. As for me - I'm blessed because of it with these and many other "little" miracles.
-A sleeping baby -A day full of patients for Dave (really an answer of fasting & prayers, although we need many more days like that) -having my mother & sister to confide in and spend time instead of being 3-6 time zones away and alone
